Samsung Phones From Sprint Nextel

Nextel Communications, a telecommunications company originally founded in 1987, was acquired by Sprint in 2005 and is now called the Sprint Nextel Corporation.

What Nextel was known for was its push-to-talk communications system and it was one of the first cellular service providers in the US that offered a national digital cellular coverage footprint.

Sprint Nextel offers some fabulous Samsung phones on its network which range from the smart phone to the business professional phone to the multimedia and entertainment phone. Some phones will cover all three areas in a general way while others are specific. In recent years cellular phones have become a lifestyle for consumers, being personal items that people use for their diaries, communication of all forms (phoning, text messaging, internet messaging, photo sharing etc.) and entertainment.

If you need a phone with GPS capabilities, which is a very useful feature if you don't want to buy a seperate GPS unit, then look at the SPH-m520, SPH-z400, the Instinct and the ACE.

The Samsung phones that are very messaging focused on the Sprint Nextel network are the SPH-m320, SPH-m520, SPH-m220, ACE, SPH-z400 and the Instinct.

The SPH-m520, Instinct and ACE are very media capable phones, which means that if you're wanting TV and music options these are the three models to be looking it.

The ACE is definitely the best business cell phone for high end users that need to keep in touch with the office and access their email and documents etc.

Those who work on building sites or enjoy extreme sports will probably want to take a look at the more rugged type of phone, of which the SCH-z400 is really the solution. The phone is encased by a soft-grip protective rubber border and, if that wasn't enough, Samsung say that it has “Passed Military Standards Specification testing (MIL-STD 810F for dust, shock & vibration).” With GPS navigation on the phone and a camera, it's a great option for those who need a highly robust and durable cell phone.

All in all, the Instinct is probably the most well rounded phone if you need something with all of the modern technology capabilities. It also has visual voicemail which means you can see who left you a voicemail rather than having to listen to it, and delete it through the interface. It's very helpful when you have already spoken to the person or know why they are calling.
